Food Delivery Service- If you are 60 & older or disabled, you may qualify for home delivery. Service is available on Thursdays, once per calendar month. Clients must call the BACM office at (330) 745-3693 to request assistance by 2PM the day before. Flier
Food Assistance- Receive a three day supply of food for your household once per month. No appointment necessary; please bring a photo ID and proof of residency (in the 44203 zip code) to each visit. The pantry is open on Tuesdays from 1-5PM and Thursday 1-6PM. View State income guidelines here.
To request an appointment with Catholic Charities:
Rent/Utility Assistance- BACM hosts a representative from Catholic Charities Community Services every Tuesday from 1-5PM that can assist with rent and utility payments (as funds are available). Please call CCCS directly at (330) 475-0091 x235 or fill in the form to the right to schedule an appointment.
Help with Public Assistance- BACM staff can help with completing applications for public assistance programs, such as food assistance through SNAP or WIC, public school free/reduce lunch, HEAP, living wills, and much more. Questions about Health Insurance? AxessPointe Community Health Center in Barberton has certified application counselors who can answer questions and assist you with applications for Medicaid or Affordable Care Act insurance coverage. Contact Lori at (330) 564-2479 for info.
In Need of a Free Cell Phone? BACM hosts a representative from Assurance Wireless that can sign qualifying individuals up for a free cell phone. Call us at (330) 745-3693 for dates and times the representative will be available.
