Annual Campaign:
to benefit BACM food pantry. Please remember to return
your pledge letters |

February
|
Love Bag Collections:
Your group or organization is encourage to collect
non-food items like dish soap, toilet paper, paper
towels, etc. Place in a decorated brown paper bag and
drop it off at BACM |

March
|
Garden Project:
In preparation for our garden project, raised beds are being built |
March/April |
Feinstein Food Challenge:
Drop any non-perishable food item or make a
financial donation during these months and BACM will
receive a percentage of money from The Feinstein
Foundation based on what we collect

April |
We
need people/families who want to participate in our Garden Project. You
will receive a raised bed, soil and seeds to start your garden - all
for FREE. Please contact Joanne Kramer at 330-745-3693 for
information

May |
|
Garden Project 2011:
Gardens will be planted at participants houses. Pantry recipients will receive
free produce from the garden and the remaining produce
will be sold at the Farmer's Market in downtown
Barberton to help increase pantry funds.
Participants will till the plots and plant their
vegetables |

Post Office Fundraiser
Watch your mail for a post card from the Barberton
and Norton post offices to donate non-perishable food
items that your mail carrier will pick up on designated
days. BACM will receive some of the donated items. |
June 25 |
2nd Annual "Food with Flair" Fundraiser at the Wolf Creek Winery
Meander
through five stations to taste various gourmet hors d'oeuvres paired
with a sample of charming wine. Choose between three tasting times:
5:15 p.m., 6:15 p.m. or 7 p.m. - and prepare yourself for a night
you won't soon forget. The price is $25 per person ($13 may be used as
a tax deduction), with proceeds benefiting the ministries' pantry,
which helps to feed more than 1500 people each month. Seating is
limited and prepayment is required prior to the event. Please call the
Winery, beginning June 1st, at (800)-436-0426 to make your reservation.
This year's event is being sponsored by SUMMA Health System.

Farmer's Market:
will be held on Wednesdays from 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm. The
market will be located in the parking lot on Tuscarawas
Ave. between 2nd and 3rd Streets behind McDonald's. Come
and visit us and buy fresh produce from our garden. |

August 1-7 |
Birdies for BACM Fundraiser
Pledge
money for every birdie made during the Bridgestone Invitational
Tournament to help support BACM's ministry. The tournament produced 970
BIRDIES! Our first place winner was Richard Orendas (967), second place
winner was Frank & Dianne Bertuzzi (945) and third place goes to Veronica
Hegarty (926). Congrats to all! |
