Barberton Area Community Ministries schedules all financial aid
appointments on the first weekday of every month. Telephone lines open at 9:00 a.m.  We schedule appointments for the first fifteen (15) callers that get through and talk to a person.  (If you get the voice mail it means that all lines are busy, please hang up and keep trying)

No individual household is permitted to receive aid more than once in a twelve month period.  Those seeking rent help must understand that BACM cannot pay only part of a month's rent.  If the total rent is not paid, then the landlord can still evict, and we will have wasted our funds.  So, with a maximum of $200.00 in housing aid BACM can offer a household, the client themselves must come up with the balance to pay off their entire month's rent. 
The same is true for utility aid, BACM cannot make a partial payment to prevent a disconnection, BACM can aid with $150.00 and the client must have the remaining balance due so that the full payment can be made.
