MISSION STATEMENT

To offer hope, compassion, service and advocacy to the poor in 

Barberton and Norton, through the collaborative ministries of 

covenanting and partnering churches, community groups, businesses,

and individuals. 

HISTORY
                                              

Barberton Area Community Ministries (BACM) began almost thirteen

years ago as an outreach ministry of First Presbyterian Church.  In

1997, BACM was incorporated as an "independent non-profit 501 (C) (3) organization"

supported by many area churches and community groups.

  BACM was named outstanding organization of the year by the Barberton Community

Foundation in 2002.
